Frédéric is a connoisseur of Champagne houses and the world of wine. Before taking over the management of Champagnes Barons de Rothschild, he spent a few years at Domaines Paul Jaboulet Aîné and Château La Lagune as Managing Director. In this position, he had a privileged view of the vinification of La Chapelle, the famous Hermitage cuvée crowned best wine in the world several times. Previously, he held various positions in the major Champagne Houses for twelve years. As Director of Vine Production and Shipping for Maison Pommery (LVMH), he also supervised part of the Operations Department at Ruinart and Veuve Clicquot. But his career as an Oenologist engineer began at Lanson/Pommery (Danone) for two years, then at Seagram with the brands Mumm and Perrier Jouët, for five years.

Created in 2005 Champagne Barons de Rothschild was born from a unique and unprecedented alliance between the three branches of the Rothschild Family, today represented by Baron Philippe Sereys de Rothschild of Château Mouton Rothschild; Ariane de Rothschild of Château Clarke (Edmond de Rothschild) and Saskia de Rothschild of Château Lafite Rothschild. Passionate about the greatest terroirs in France and around the world, the Barons have joined forces, for the first time in their history, to create a Champagne House and craft their unique interpretation of a ‘Grand Vin de Champagne’ together.
