Olivier Trégoat has been the Technical Director of Château L’Évangile, Château Rieussec and Château Paradis Casseuil since July 2020. Prior to this, Olivier was Technical Director of Châteaux outside Bordeaux, ensuring the management of Domaine d’Aussières, Viña Los Vascos, Bodegas CARO and Domaine de Long Dai. Before joining DBR Lafite, Olivier was independant consultant in oenology and viticulture. His expertise focused on soil (soil study, assessment of a terroir, cartography) and vineyard by providing support for vinicultural techniques at all stages, training technical staff, evaluating material choices, vine water status and nitrogen uptake. He also provided oenological advice on assembling and winemaking process.
About the Winery
Château Paradis Casseuil formerly belonged to Château Rieussec. When purchasing the First Growth of Sauternes in 1984, Baron Eric de Rothschild lost no time in adding this jewel of the Entre-Deux-Mers region to the DBR portfolio. The vineyard of Paradis Casseuil was extended in 1989, becoming one of the leading properties of the region.
