Aromas of cassis, black plum and a touch of graphite unfold with air, while the palate shows real polish - juicy blackcurrant and cherry layered with hints of liquorice, toasted spice, and earthy undertones. The tannins are silky yet firm, giving definition without weight, and the subtle oak influence brings added complexity through notes of cedar and cocoa. A superbly poised 2018 with energy, depth, and Left Bank precision.
