Description:
Purity, definition and varietal expression sits at the heart of Chan de Rosas’ stylistic approach. The Gran Cuveé incorporates hand-harvested Albarino from Rias Baixas. Half of the wine is gently rested in French oak barrels to aid texture, weight and complexity. This judicious approach to oak influence aims to support the natural expression of the grape and allow its personality to shine. The nose brings together citrus peel, green apple, white peach, white flowers and subtle vanilla notes. These notes follow on to the palate with a creamy texture and wonderful honeysuckle note on the finish. A great example of this characterful grape variety.
