Description:
Three exquisite vintages, two bottles of each, displayed in a limited edition original wooden case from Château Clarke, Listrac Medoc, Bordeaux. The origins of the Château Clarke estate date back to the 12th century when the Cistercian monks of the Vertheuil Abbey planted the first vines. Much more recently, the knight Tobie Clarke purchased the land that would permanently bear his name in 1818. Then, after being repeatedly handed down and finally sold, the property was bought in 1973 by the Baron Edmond de Rothschild.

Château Clarke 2005

ROBERT PARKER: 90-92 points
"Space limitations did not allow complete tasting notes for this Cru Bourgeois the finest vintage for these wines since 1982. The range of scores for these give readers an idea of just how consistent this vintage is at this level. Give more because of their concentration and tannic structure."

Château Clarke 2010

JAMES SUCKLING: 93 points
"Extreme nose of crushed raspberries and minerals. Full body, with very integrated tannins and a fresh clean finish. Lasts for minutes. Very well done."

Château Clarke 2015

NEIL MARTIN 90 - 92 points

"The 2015 Clarke has an attractive blackberry and briary scented nose with just a hint of dark chocolate emanating from the new oak. The palate is medium-bodied with fine grain tannin, the acidity nicely judged with nice tension on the cedar and tobacco-tinged finish. I appreciate the freshness and refinement demonstrated by this Chateau Clarke."
